We are a contributing primary school catering for Years 1 - 6, situated 5km to the west of Pukekohe.
Our pupils generally hail from the Puni, Hill and Pukekohe township areas, creating a school community of rural and urban families.  Country Day and Cultural Festival feature as two of Puni School's annual highlights.

A bus service operates from Pukekohe bringing pupils to school for our 8.30am start before transporting Intermediate and High School children back to the township.  In the afternoon the buses return at 2.30pm to take pupils back home again.

Puni School has a stable roll of approximately 200 pupils and 10 teachers.  Our class sizes are kept small to maximize children's learning.

We have a reputation of having well-mannered and behaved pupils taught within a harmonious and accepting school culture.
We have a zero tolerance policy towards bullying and unacceptable behaviour.

We pride ourselves on our wonderful mix of European, Maori, Indian, Chinese, Western Samoan and Tongan cultures to be found at Puni School.

Pupils are encouraged to develop leadership skills and take responsibility for their own learning whilst being monitored and supported by an able and talented staff.

We welcome your interest in our school and are happy to answer any queries about enrolling your child at Puni School.

Please take time to review our strategic plan and the vivid description the Puni School Board of Trustees has for our school.

We strive to make our school motto a part of our daily lives "Effort Brings Reward".

Puni School is a Health Promoting School - Kauri level.

FULTON SWIM SCHOOL

Fulton Swim School is located at the Puni and Patumahoe Primary Schools, indoor heated facilities, small teaching groups and a structured program that encourages improvement, fun and safety while learning the life skill of swimming

Some of our children currently attend Fulton Swim School and absolutely love it here. It's an amazing life skill to learn, and we recommend all parents consider the gift of allowing their child to learn how to swim. To find out more, click here.
